Covered bridges harken back to a simpler, more romantic time.

The area surrounding Scio, Oregon is blessed with a number of covered bridges, most in continuous use since the 1930's, and all easily accessible on a relatively short drive through beautiful farmland, forests and rolling hills. 

Most of these bridges still show signs of being crafted with hand tools and locally cut timber by the hardworking men of pioneering spirit that helped to shape Oregon's history.
